The Tiago Cabaço winery is located in Estremoz, one of the most distinctive terroirs in the Alentejo wine region. The project stems from the vision of Tiago Cabaço its winemaker, who grew up among the vineyards, learning from childhood the secrets of the land, the grape varieties, and the practices that define the region's tradition. In 2004, he launched the brand under his own name, beginning a journey that evolved from artisanal production to a recognized and award-winning winery.
The property combines family heritage with a contemporary approach. The vineyards are distributed around Estremoz, based on diverse soils (schist, clay, loam, and quartz patches) and benefiting from a large temperature range, resulting in wines with marked freshness, precision, and aging potential. Currently, the project manages approximately 123 hectares of vineyards and produces approximately 1.4 million bottles per year, supported by a team of about 50 employees.
Wine tourism plays a central role in the project. The winery welcomes visitors for guided tours with tastings, allowing them to learn about the winemaking process, visit the cellar, and sample different wines from their portfolio. The experience combines architecture, landscape, and Alentejo authenticity, which is reflected in excellent reviews and awards such as the Travellers’ Choice 2025.
