Pista Wines is a young and promising wine project located in Alter de Pedroso, in the municipality of Alter do Chão, in the heart of the Alentejo wine region. With a focus on authenticity and respect for nature, the wines produced here elegantly express the true Alentejo terroir.
The project owes its name to its mentor, António Pista, an experienced professional with a passion for the world of wine, who realized a long-held dream: to produce sustainable wines through responsible farming practices that respect nature and its biodiversity.
Pista Wines currently offers three wines, the Tapada da Fonte wines — white, red, and rosé — two of which received excellent scores from critic Mark Squires of Robert Parker Wine Advocate. It also features two single-varietal wines, Arinto and Touriga Nacional, which offer a unique tasting experience.
Visiting Pista Wines is to embrace a culture of respect for nature and appreciate the nectars it offers. The project offers guided tours, tastings of excellent wines, and picnics in the vineyards, providing unique moments for its visitors.
