Pista Wines is a very young wine project located in Alter de Pedroso, Alter do Chão, in the Alentejo wine region, which produces wines that express the authentic Alentejo terroir.
The project owes its name to its mentor, António Pista, a professional in the sector, passionate about the world of wine, who put an old dream into practice: to produce wines while practicing sustainable agriculture, respecting nature, and its biodiversity.
After only 3 years and 4 hectares of vineyards, these practices have already borne fruit and rewarded him with beautiful nectars. Thus, Pista Wines already has three different wine types, the Tapada da Fonte, white, red and rosé, 2 of which have received excellent scores from Mark Squires, the renowned wine critic from the Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate.
To visit this project is to be part of this culture of respect for nature and to be able to taste what it has to offer. You can try their great visit and tastings as well as enjoying a delicious picnic amongst the vines.
