The tours are normally given by the father or son owners and you will really discover this unique wine-growing region.
Viuva Gomes takes pride in crafting exceptional wines from different sites. You will hear about its history and get insights on the traditional Colares wines which are grown in sandy soils. Both the “Viúva Gomes” and "Patrão Diogo" wines are a testament to the diverse terroirs of this picturesque landscape of Colares and the Lisbon Region.
The visit will finish with a 4 wine tasting where you will try some wines which were grown in sandy soils and others in more typical hard soils offering a unique sensory experience. This isn't just any wine tasting, it's a journey into the heart of Portuguese winemaking where you will have a memorable experience that combines excitement and education in every sip.
