An incredible opportunity to participate in the most awaited moment of the wine year, the grape harvest. The harvest begins at night to ensure the freshness of the grapes, so the members of the Fitapreta team will pick you up from wherever you are staying to be able to pick grapes before sunrise. The working day continues, moving on to rolling up your sleeves and helping on the moving carpet selecting the grapes, amongst other tasks such as the remounting or labwork. After tasting some fermenting must and having a 5 wine tasting with snacks, lunch is served in the courtyard of the Palace of the Paço do Morgado with all the team. This experience also includes a harvest pack including a t-shirt and Fitapreta hat.
The day harvest program has a duration of 4 hours and starts at 10am and finishes after lunch.
The night harvest program is 8 hours and starts at 6am and will finish after lunch. (This program always needs confirmation closer to the date by our winemaking team).
If you would like to join the night harvest activities and also have your transfer from your accommodation included this can be done at an additional cost of 35 euros.
