This program is a full day wine course taught by the winemaker of Quinta da Lagoalva, Pedro Pinhão. The course will cover several subjects, namely: Terroir, Vine, Harvest, Winemaking techniques, Denominations, Aromas and defects, Tasting: visual, olfactory (nose) and gustatory(tasting) phases, initiation to the winemaking world and basic concepts of winemaking techniques. In addition to lunch with regional specialties, the program also includes a commented tasting of various wines and a guided tour of the winery and vineyards.
