Discover the ancestral connection between clay and wine in a hands-on experience that invites you to work with the raw material that gives rise to the historic clay amphorae of Adega Malápio. In partnership with a local artisan, you will participate in a mini-course on pottery, where you will mold your own clay piece, gaining a better understanding of the art and know-how that spans generations.
The experience continues with a private guided tour of the century-old winery, where you will learn about the role of the natural micro-oxygenation of the clay amphorae in the identity of Malápio amphora wines. The tour concludes with a guided tasting of two wines, accompanied by a platter of regional snacks. As a memento of this moment, you will receive a personalized clay piece after the drying and firing process.
Note: Children up to 12 years old pay the reduced price of 38 euros, and young people aged 12 to 18 pay 47.5 euros.
