This unique experience allow groups of at least 10 visitors to be part of the harvest team of of Quinta do Boição. You will be attending all the processes of grape harvesting, from picking the grapes to foot treading, including a winery tour and visit to the barrel room, as well as a workshop demonstration to learn about the different stages of winemaking for white, red and rosé wines. Finally you will finish with a buffet/picnic of DOP cheeses and Iberian Ham served with 4 Premium wines and some fermenting must tasting at Caves Velhas.

10:50 – 12:00 Tour the vineyards and harvest the grapes by hand
12:00 – 12:50 Winery visit and traditional treading experience - Workshop to learn about the different stages of winemaking for white, red and rosé wines.
12:50 – 13:20 Guided visit to the cellars.
13:20 – 15:00 Pic Nic nibbles including DOP cheeses and ham and wine tasting including a must tasting.
Note: this event is only available during the harvest, usually in August and September. Should you wish to have a more complete lunch this is 25 euros extra per person. So instead of 45 euros it is 70 euros per person for this experience. Children 6-14 years old pay half price for the experience.
