A visit to Viuva Gomes is an important and highly recommended informative experience for a follower of wine production in Portugal. The over 200 year old traditional, family run business, survived throughout the 19th century Phylloxera pandemic that otherwise devastated the wine industry. A warm welcome by the owner is added to by his detailed knowledge and supported by explanations that accompany the tasting of superb wines.

A helpful and personal experience in arranging our tour and tasting in Evora. The vineyard guide was friendly, professional and fluent in English. It made for an interesting and fun visit enhancing our knowledge of Portuguese wines and history in the Alentejo region. The wines selected for tasting ranged from "anytime drinking" wines to highly regarded premium wines. We enjoyed the tour with very few visitors which provided a personal experience. All in all, I am very happy with the Wine XP experience and will be using the services of Wine XP on our next trip with friends.

Best tour and tasting event we ever had in Portugal - and we had many all over the country. Our guide was wonderful, the setting of the adega and the tasting room is marvelous, and the wines and nibblings served were perfect.

Absolutely love everything about Cas’Amaro! The wines were so delicious - both the white and the red. The wine shop and bar is devine. I can’t wait to go back and have lunch. Most importantly, we were so well taken care of by Rui! I definitely recommend visiting Cas’Amaro!

I had such a great time attending the harvest experience at Quinta do Boição. We got to pick grapes and stomp them in the traditional way, which was really cool and gave me new insights on the whole winemaking process. I loved seeing that it's also a family-friendly activity, and witnessing kids enjoy it alongside us added to the experience. I can't wait to explore more different wine experiences through this platform!
