This experience provides a journey through tradition and local culture which joins two ancestral ways: food treading of grapes accompanied by Alentejo local singers and the unique Rocim wines. Try out this fabulous harvest experience in September (see dates below) and enjoy an experience you will remember!
Programme:
11h00 – welcome with Herdade do Rocim wine and local cheese and charcuterie from the Alentejo region
11h30 – Visit the “teaching vines” and explanations on the harvest process
13h30 – Traditional Alentejo BBQ with local pork and “migas” which is like a bread sauce and other local nibbles.
16h00 – Foot treading of grapes
17h30 – End of experience
Includes: Guides to accompany the group as well as a t-shirt, hat and amphora wine tasting.
Note: Available on 7 and 14 of September with reservation of at least 72 hours in advance and minimum 12 people. Children 5-16 years pay 50%.
